OHP reflection My experience with the Oral History Project was rather clean and not too stressful. We didn't have any mess ups or issues with scheduling. We interviewed Kirk Rummel, the CFO of Baker Ripley community center. He gave us information about Harvey in a way only a businessman could. I appreciated how he looked at Harvey from a very financial way, citing how it would affect more of Houston's future than it's present. How many businesses would be worried about flooding when they would have moved to Houston. I blame the overall ease of the project to my team members, specifically Elliott, who contacted Kirk and set up the interview single-handedly. I came up with most of the interview questions, Mia conducted the interview, and Nathaniel only did the video (which is understandable he was in China with no internet for 80% of the project time). What Led to Marjane's grandma yelling at her? Marjane's Grandmother yelled at her after she had a man beaten and arrested by police officers for faking sexual assault. She was close to being arrested but said that a random man she just saw had sexually assaulted her, the man was beaten and arrested in her place. She laughed all the way through. When she told this to her grandma she yelled at Marjane. They then lost contact for a long while. I believe that the yelling was deserved. As a human male, I believe that false sexual assault charges are a rather extreme offense. Though that may just be because I can empathize more with the man than with Marjane in this case. I believe that Marjane getting yelled at for it was in fact way too mild of a punishment. Her grandmother was absolutely right in losing contact with her. However, there are a few doubts toward my claims. I don't fully know what would've happened if Marjane was taken by the Islamic police force. Though...
